 Pastor Al Sones

As Senior Pastor of Good News Church and regional church leader, Al has been a member of a team that has been studying, praying and working on one essential question since 1999. The question is, “What will lead to rapid expansion of the Kingdom of God?”  Al is married to Eileen.
 
Eileen is often at the keyboard on Sunday mornings at Good News Church. She is a piano instructor who has taught many children, teens and adults in our community. They have three daughters, two sons-in-law, five granddaughters and four grandsons.

Associate Pastor

 
Pastor Deryl Reinhold
Deryl has been an Associate Pastor at Good News Church for more than 15 years. He was previously in full-time ministry with Youth With a Mission. Deryl and Miriam met 18 years ago when both were serving with YWAM. During 2014, God spoke to each of them about the other, turning their friendship into romance. They were married on June 20, 2015 in Puerto Rico.
 
Deryl leads our morning worship service and Miriam plays percussion.
Student Ministry Leader
 
Christina Waller
Christina is a 2021 graduate of Red Land High School. While in school, she spent four years involved in the Junior Reserves Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Program where she mentored, taught, and led others as well as organized community service events. Currently, she is involved in a DRAMA ministry that uses mime and acting to share the gospel and is a member of the worship team at a Christian Hebrew Roots gathering. She works part-time and attends HACC- working towards her Electrical degree. While continuously striving to further understand the Truth of God’s Word, she looks forward to doing the same for the youth of the Church.

Kristin Mehaffie
 

Kristin Mehaffie serves in the role of Ministry Assistant for Coordination. She coordinates the volunteers and helps with staffing special events. In addition to this roll, she volunteers on Sunday mornings as part of the Sound/Display Team. Her heart for Jesus means that you will frequently find her showing the love of Jesus through acts of service.
